At Livingstone, we head straight for Victoria (or Vic) Falls. Somehow, once again, we end up at the Zimbabwean border post instead. They tell us we've driven past the turnoff to see Vic Falls on the Zambian side. How did we miss that? Weren't these falls supposed to be huge?
We turn around, pay the hefty $20 a person fee to see the natural wonder. The clouds and rain add a bit to the drama. Even though the Vespa cannot enter, it gets to pose in front of the river running into the falls :) Back in Livingstone, we pass by a Zambian music shop where the sales woman is singing and jamming to the rhythm of some local musician. We find her so convincing, we get the CD. We crash at Livingstone Backpackers tonight, make an attempt at washing our stuff but the next thunderstorm during the night wets it again. Maybe it just needed YET ANOTHER rinsing...
